Your key responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.
- Undertake minor repairs, including work on brakes and brake lines, bearings, air hoses, and some cosmetic tasks.
- Replace parts.
- Maintain a high standard of general housekeeping to ensure a clean and organised workspace.
- Be ready to start at 7am, with the flexibility to work on Saturdays when required.

Essential skills and experience
- You're a qualified and experienced Trailer Mechanic with previous experience within a transport environment.
- You have a driver's license.
- You bring a self-driven, can-do attitude.
- Your experience includes basic electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- You also have welding and mechanical experience.
- You’ve got a good understanding of fault finding and pneumatic braking systems.
- You’re physically fit.
- You excel at working as part of a team.
- You are reliable and punctual.
- You are capable of following instructions and completing tasks.
- You successfully pass D&A (Drug and Alcohol) testing.
Note. If you have a forklift licence, that's a big plus!
